About Daniel Kimia
Daniel Kimia completed his undergraduate coursework in Los Angeles, California at the University of Southern California. With an early interest in real estate, he became an accounting major, and upon completion of his Bachelor's degree (B.S.), he knew he needed more education to get a leg up on his competitors. To supplement his foundational studies, Kimia headed to New York City and enrolled at the esteemed New York University (NYU), where he took courses in finance, appraisal, real estate law, and property management. The courses, and his background at USC, allowed him to receive his New York State Real Estate License in 1985, and from there, he was ready to begin his career in real estate development. Daniel Kimia is today the President of Whitestone Properties Inc. Whitestone Properties is based out of Great Neck, New York, and Daniel Kimia utilizes his education and experiences to manage the real estate firm. The duties Daniel performs daily are myriad, ranging from oversight of the operation's marketing, finance, budgeting, and administration to construction planning, legal work, accounting, and acquisition. During the 20 years he has been at the helm of Whitestone Properties, Mr. Kimia has established an impressive record of achievement, focusing the firm's efforts on both residential and commercial properties. To that end, Whitestone Properties has been effective in both the construction of new spaces and the renovation of existing ones. Daniel Kimia is a regular donor to several charitable organizations; among them are Habitat for Humanity, the Montefiore Hospital, the Iranian American Jewish Federation, the Schneider Children's Hospital, and Temple Israel.
